Hi there!

This week we focused on constructing a moodboard in order to help us get a clearer picture on our concept and make sure that we, Alice and I, were on the same page about the project. We also settled on a bunch of keywords to guide our search, we chose the following: stable, rustic, nordic/Scandinavian, mature, sustainability, cherish and robust.

The first draft of the moodboard

For the moodboard we gathered a wide variety of images, colour palettes and keywords. We started out with a lot of pictures but narrowed it down to the ones that we felt best represented our vision. It became clear that we wanted something raw, robust and natural. Earthy and rich dark colours were, in our opinion, the ones most appropriate for the concept. However, we received feedback and decided to experiment with adding a few stronger and more vibrant colours. Nothing crazy but a little “something something”, you know.
