The week started with the building of a new prototype, using carton more suitable for food. We have also lowered the box height so the inside pieces don’t move around.

We decided to build a section shaped like a stage so we could lower the small containers who contains the wasabi, soy and ginger into it. By doing this, the containers are standing in place.

The chopsticks’ placing was a problem with our round shaped design. We have decided to put them inside going straight over the hole. Therefore you can use them as a handle to carry and open the box.

Now the graphic design of the box is pretty much decided. We don’t want to put that much texture on the front of the package. Instead we have made it simple and clean. We try to keep the text on the box to a minimum and put as much as possible on the backside of the package.
