Hello or Tjenixen as we say in Sweden. We are Emmie Wikström and Fanny Fellman, two graphic designers in the making. We are currently working with a fashion designer called Frida Jonsvens and her brand Jonsvens. Our job is to make the perfect box for Jonsvens’ clothes. The brand Jonsvens is all about colors, attitude and being unique. We are so looking forward to take on this challenge and make a packaging solution that fits perfectly for Frida’s colorful brand.

We had a meeting with our tutors to check in on our process. We faced some different opinions about the direction we were heading. This made us think even more and develop our ideas.

We made some prototypes in carton, just to get the idea how the box would look and feel. How big it would be and what it felt like to hold and open it etc.

We called Frida to make sure we were on the same page regarding our design ideas. She was super nice! We shared the same concept so we’re excited!

To make sure we have everything under control, we made a to-do list. This week we have been focusing a lot on the box, but there is more to the assignment than that. Our plan now is to start working on the logotype.
