Iman Aldebe: Templates

This week’s focus has been on creating two different package templates for Iman Aldebe’s turban collection. Based on our ideas and sketches we did some measuring and prototype-making before we used Adobe Illustrator to make the templates. It hasn’t been a totally flawless procedure, but it’s been fun (even though some hair has been ripped off our heads due to frustration). It finally resulted in two design options: the magic book design and the matchbox design. More about them later on.

Even though the packages aren’t done yet we are one step ahead, like we have to be. We have made a first draft of a hang tag that is going to go with the package. Besides the logo there’s gonna be a little message inside the tag and we also think it’s going to work brilliant as a price tag.

This beautiful friday is going to be spent in school. Later on we’re meeting up with our teachers to pitch our ideas and get some feedback. That’s gonna be interesting and exciting. A perfect start to the weekend.
