Hello there!

This week has been really intense and time has flown by. We have tried to stick to our time schedule but that has proven to be a challenge.

Illustrations and instructions

During these five short days we have continued working on the illustrations and instructions for each product. The difficulty lies in getting everything to feel consistent and put together. As previously mentioned, our keywords are clean and fresh, casual and bright. Therefore we wan’t it to be simple but at the same time detailed enough to be easily understandable, this is something we’ve been working hard to achieve.

Finishing touches

The logotype is now done and the overall design is coming together nicely. We still have some minor issues with the wrapper packaging, the millimeters hasn’t been working in our favor but we’ll be adjusting that until it’s perfect. Yesterday we bought some white ribbon, we luckily found the right kind. This will be used as a handle and also as tabs on the lids. So, overall we feel like we’re getting closer to the finish line.

Today’s assignment consists of printing out our design and then assembling it onto the prototype. In addition to that we also need to photograph our product. We will be headed down to the studio in a minute so hopefully this post will be updated with pictures later today.

The upcoming tasks

Looking forward, we will be busy creating a marketing idea for the product, in the form of a poster. The final thing to do before Wednesday, which is our deadline, is making a presentation. The main focus being to sell our idea to the audience.
