A lot has happened since last week. We have folded carton over and over again and we have now narrowed our options down to one design that we are both very happy with. And this is it:

We believe that this design, that is inspired by the shape of the chopsticks, is representing the dish we want to sell. we also found through our research in the supermarket, that long and thin packages feels more luxurious and especially with the color black.

We have also chosen our material, which is a matt, black carton which makes the box easy to open and close but also feels good in your hands. We have thought a lot about function so that our box is comfortable to hold in you hand but also easy to eat out of.

With the typography and colors we want it to keep it clean. We want the black to be the dominating color and only add small type and image elements. We only want to add two more colors which will be gold and white.
We also want to create an original feeling for our box so the consumer feels special. We have tried different things, for example a piece of string tied around the box giving it a hand made feeling.

We also tried our package in order to see if we had chosen an appropriate size. It turned out it was a little bit too short so we then added an other centimeter to the length.
