* The concept of Northern Sweden has now reached it’s end for this time. If we take this final week from the beginning:

Monday: We started the week correcting the typography and other small adjustments.

Tuesday = Mimaki-day and we thought we got our documents for printing right…

Wednesday: …after printing for the third time we finally got it right, almost.

Thursday: Total chaos cutting and folding every little part to perfection.

Friday: We glued together a book-shelf that will work as a stand for our two packages. WE MADE IT BEFORE DEADLINE!

To sum it up: It has been long days and nights, a lot of frustration but our group is the greatest and we laughed til we cried almost every day.

* To reveal our concept it is the sound and peace of northern Sweden. The name of the product is how a lot of people say “yes” in the north of Sweden. That has inspired all of the illustrations on the packages that picture people on campus making this noise with their mouths. We also asked them how they would spell this sound and we got at least eleven different suggestions. These spellings can also be seen on the package. To connect the Mid Sweden University with the north of Sweden we made the packages in the form of a book and a ruler, also to make people want to buy both of them.
