During this week we have focused on the packaging, we made several ‘test’ packagings and tried diffrent sizes and types. We have also done a moodboard were we tried to show our thoughts/feelings and colours we wanted our packaging to have. We then made a prototype of the packaging to see what it would look like.

After our tuition we decided that we needed to rethink our concept. Before the tuition we wanted to keep the orginal look of the cups, and use a seasonal theme. Now we are thinking about paiting all the cups so that they all have the same colour, and using copper wire or/ and colour to decorate them. We have been rethinking the packaging as well. Instead of making a seasonal theme with different colours, we might use a more deatailed origami-inspired packaging. The idea is to use a one-coloured  background with geomatric shapes in copper color and a copper coloured inside as well. We think this will make the lightcup and packaging match more.

We have decided a name for our product as well, FINALLY! 😀 We have decided to call it “LÅGA”. During this weekend we will continue to try diffrent packaging and make sketches for a new pattern.
