ALMOST DONE!

This week we had a lot of working to do. Our post of the last week is a bit late but here it comes:

Our packaging had a box shape but now we have changed our minds, we wanted a packaging who would be smaller and compact, because you should not packaging air. We also took the feedback from our teachers and made our packaging more clean and modern. We want our packaging to look like a makeup-brand.
We worked a lot with the shape, made about 7 prototypes with different color of the material and it took a long time, but it was worth it! Because of the changes with the packning we also had problems with the recipe and recycle illustration on the bottom, we hadn’t enough space to place the recipe on the cap so we decided to make a card with the recipe and the recycle instruction.

We decided to have white color on the outside and matte silver on the inside, to make it look more modern.
We also worked with the dividers that you´ll find on the inside, who will make our products to stay in place.

All the products are organic but we don´t want it to be that obvious. On the second week of this project we visited beauty and makeup- stores to see their designs of products. We noticed that many of the products are organic but are not using words as organic. We also talked to the chief and asked why?. She said that it costs a lot of money and resources and that all countries have different qualifications for the organic products. Many organic products had “eco cert” as an organic label, we can´t have that on our packaging because then we need to have a approval from eco-cert.
