The first stages of APEAK

For this course we where assigned by BillerudKorsnäs to produce an innovative packaging design for their annual competition PIDA. This year the theme is “Awakening the senses”.

Our goal is to create a design that takes the Swedish mountain experience to the modern, urban cities. Why? Because adventuring in the Swedish mountains will truly trigger all of your senses no matter who you are.

This week we are building prototypes and testing colours.
We have drawn and tried out different designs, trying to figure out what works and what doesn’t. Theres has been a lot of trial and error and in the end we ended up going in a different direction than we first planned but still staying true to the original vision.
