This week has been quite a journey, we have had some troubles with our packaging design and with the choice of paper. We had big ideas for our packaging in the beginning, but we quickly realized that we needed to simplify it. With the help of our teachers, we got the idea of doing the shape of our package to look more like a real butterfly that spread out its wings. The former shape was more industrial and had straight lines. The new shape is more flowy and look more true to a real butterfly’s shape, more organic.

With the pattern being almost finished, so is the design of our package. The next step for us is to put all different parts together such as the typography, and the pattern with the design of the package. So we can see the big picture.

Our moodboard is also finished and gives us a bit inspiration of what we wish to accomplish with this project.
