Depa-chika

This is our proposal of the Swedish dish and its package.

Analysis

We try to sell Swedish meatballs that are not familiar in Japan now.

The features of the meatballs are following two.

1, They are bit size and easy to eat.

2, Spherical shape of them is funny and make a fine show.

Because of these two points, we thought Swedish meatballs are suitable for the party dish.

And we propose “DEPA-CHIKA” for scene of selling meatball.

“DEPA-CHIKA” means a department store’s basement food floor in Japan.

DEPA-CHIKA treats so many kinds of novel foods and special foods that it gather many people who seek them as a party dish or a present taken to a person when calling.

As a result of the analysis,  we decided to sell our dish as a party dish at DEPA-CHIKA.

Brand

We plan to establish the new brand and the shop that sells the Swedish meatballs especially.

The shop’s name is “SWEDISH“.

Our concept is  “SWEDISH” is the great way to have good time with your companion.

Dish

Our dish is the set of meatballs and coocked vegetables (mashed potato, tomato, boiled broccoli, cucumber and so on..).

We cut vegetables to make them as same size as meatballs. The customer can buy them at a favorite rate.

Target Group

Women in their 20-30s. They often hold a little party at home.

Scenario

You can buy the dish in many situations. For example, birthday party for your son, house party with your friend and so on.

First, you order meatballs and vegetable at “SWEDISH” shop, and you get packaged dish.

Second, you open the package and would be surprised to see the meatballs piling up like the mountain inside the box.

“SWEDISH” make you delightful.

Package Design

We wanted to express a warm atmosphere like spending time with people close to us.

So, we considered well the texture and color of the box.

Looking “yamamori” (“yamamori” means piling  foods up like a mountain. ), we feel happiness, richness and delight.

It is especially important in dishing up Japanese food.

So, we designed it to show the “yamamori” more dramatic.

Shop Design (=Ad)

For a shop in a “DEPA-CHIKA”, its design is the most effective advertisement, because most of customers decide what they buy after they look around the shops.

Therefore we propose the shop design as our advertisement.
