Vernissage poster and printing

Monday 3d November: We started writing the design manual. We gathered all the information about what fonts we’ve used, colours, the marketing poster, packaging constructions, etc. We also created the vernissage poster and placed it on a billboard in school.

Tuesday 4th November: Since the big, fancy, Japanese Mimaki printer is broken, we needed a back up plan for our package. We made a prototype in the same cardboard we were going to use in the Mimaki printer, but instead of printing on the cardboard we printed on paper and glued it on the package.

Wednesday 5th November: We’ve been working hard all day and night yesterday, with the marketing poster, the pitch for tomorrow, photographing and printing the final inner packages. Our thought with the marketing poster is to tell a story that makes people think for themselves. We also wanted to add a bit of humor to attract our target group; people in the age of 18-25. In the afternoon we got the final print from the printworks and started putting the examination package together. Everything went well and we’re very happy with the result.
