Final Week – All was well

Preparations and execution

The final week of the packaging project is here and unlike last week, everything is coming along nicely and according to schedule. We’ve been working with the finishing touches (adjusting the measurements etc) and preparing the packages for the final print, as well as actually printing them and putting it all together, which means that the packages are finally done!

Design Manual

We’ve also put together a design manual with detailed information about our packages. Everything from blueprints, color choices and design elements. The design manual’s design is inspired by the pattern on our packages. We also decided to make a sleeve for the manual to match the packaging design on the chocolate bar package.

Poster and advert

We’ve also printed our poster and advert in true size, and they came out great. These are also inspired by our nature themed packaging design to make the overall design more cohesive.

Not only is this the final week, it’s also the final blog post. Even though the past few weeks have been very stressful, especially the last week with our re-design being the most stressful week ever during our time at the University, it has also been incredibly fun. We’ve made a couple of new friends and learned a ton about the process of designing and producing packages as well as chocolate. So it’s with mixed feelings we now end this project, hope you enjoyed following us these past few weeks!

All was well.
