Moody moodboard

Last week we started to work a little bit with the moodboard, and this week we finished it up with some typographic examples, colors, structure and images. The colors are inspired by nature, in a way that brown and red-ish colors are dominant. We also included some paper scraps with different textures and weights.

Ready, set.. packaging!

Our focus this week has been directed towards the development of the packaging for the book. Alexandra started out during last weekend with some experiments for a suitable solution – which we ended up going along with. Together we made some changes to the packaging in a more efficient way where we figured out that we could combine two pieces of cardboard to minimize used resources. In total we have created around 10 complete packages this week in order to try new things and experiment on the design.

The Super-sustainable Packaging

Along with some feedback we started to work in a more extreme sustainable way parallell to the cardboard version. This solution is also under construction, and in a very young stage but in short we are will make a packaging out of as little resources as possible. The main challenge is to only resources from the book itself to make a new packaging that attract customers and still communicates enough information in an effective way.

That is all from us, over and out.
