Colors – for a positive feeling

Since our last update we have been developing the design of the package. For the products we have made C-sketches where we want to create a positive feeling by using different colors for each product. We are creating a pattern of the product colors, that we will use balanced through our packaging design. For example the marketing poster, the cover of the box and the personal labels. From the start our idea was to wrap a personal label around the box and the idea is still the same but in a different shape. The labels will be made smaller (7×4 cm) and with more options, both prewritten (merry christmas, happy birthday etc) and for the customer to write a message themselves. The pattern full of colors will be seen on the back of the label.

Poping colors

Our scenario for Cederroth has developed along the process, it started as a housewarming gift and it still is but can also be given as a gift at holidays, birthdays and in general. The colors will create a positive feeling and the gift will be perceived as less ominous.

The box has been given a new size because we have placed the products differently. Now they will be lying flat instead of standing on the sides. And therefore will the box have a bigger area but will not be deep as before. This will make the colors pop when opening the box.

The countdown has begun

We have three days until the first examination. Upcoming days will result in a complete prototype, a marketing poster and a presentation for the examination. So we are busy. Now we are going to have a photoshoot and in the afternoon we will print the latest product covers and start making the marketing poster.
