Prototype re-design thoughts

Bonjour! This Wednesday was examination day and we got feedback on the work we have done so far and we got to see all of our classmates work too. Very exciting and inspiring to see what all of us has come up with. Next friday is the final presentation and we have a lot to do before that, but for now – let’s focus on the work we have done since last week.

A lot has been done. We have both been working hard to get everything done for the examination. On the weekend we worked on the new prototype and we had a bit of a problem with the measurements of the package. When we finally figured it out we were both exhausted but felt happy that it worked out in the end. When the prototype was done we got to make the outer design and decided that there wasn’t enough time for making product packages. Instead we started working on the presentation. But as the Monday night arrived Phelicia realized that it would be great if we actually DID make product packages as well, so she stayed in school until after midnight. As she worked on the products, I, Felicia, worked on the presentation and speech at home. On Tuesday we made some final touches to the presentation and speech, printed and glued our design on to the prototype. We were right on schedule!

Just a moment ago we finished talking to one of our teachers, Anna-Sara, and began to develop a new idea for our packaging design. The reason for that is that there is a problem with our design – the inner walls are not strong enough to hold all the boxes. It looks kind of funny, actually. We are now thinking that we should re-do the main package and make it better, to eliminate our current problem.

We are on to brainstorming again and therefore there is no time to lose. See you next week!
